                       MITIGATION AND ADAPTION

1- Since Mongolia doesn't have a huge CO2 foot print  to being with and efforts to go into preparing for the future impacts of climate change are not as serious as countries such as  China, US, Australia  and India etc. The way the UNFCC wants to have Mongolia to became more green friendly country still this is because Mongolia is still in the developing stages of  having a stable government  but if we introduce more friendlier technology into the country can slowly take away the CO2 emission that is still relevant in the country.

2- I think that the greatest thing that the Asia can do as a whole to improve their CO2 footprint  is to start replanting of the grasslands and the forest that they have cut down over the years, they can do this while introducing more advance technology that will let them reuse the resources  that they have and help it stabilize the population.  Which is one of the most troubling thing that Asia has, even though they already have policy, it will take a while to get the effects to work and by then we might be to late 


3-  the Kyoto protocol  didn't apply to my country this could be that Mongolia wasn't a developed and still isn't, and compared to other countries that the Kyoto protocol did apply to Mongolia didn't even reach those CO2 emission. Mongolia has remained in the shadows when it came to global warming mitigation and adaption.

4- Ultaabaar is one of the most polluted cities in the world and it is also the capital of Mongolia, and it is so polluted that is has 6-7  times higher rate of pollution then the world Health organization standards. This has drawn attention to the Mongolian  government making them to decide to launched a project that will get more advance stoves, bailers, and heating systems in homes and buildings. This lead to the Mongolia government to mobilize  45 million dollars in donor assistance to have a project called the Ultaabaar clean air project to make sure that every person in the city is given the more global friendly equipment.  With this new technology the CO2 emission and will slowly go down and also the air quality will rise. Even though Mongolia is taking steps to mitigate  Co2 emission  I think that they should have more government policies in place. The reason is that Mongolia is a interesting country with their dynamitic climate that they should try to keep that balance, like having filters for the factors and getting better make and model cars.

5- I believe that Mongolia should do both the reason is that through this blog project I learned that Mongolia is on such a line of balance that with one steps on either side it can cause many effects(like mention in the page of effects of global climate change) so having mitigation to decrease those changes such be put in right now and  if the effects came faster then expected they have the money and technology to put that in place.
